Nature & Art Alliance launched the first-ever Global Youth Art Competition to Support Wildlife in 2021, co-sponsored by the UNESCO World Youth Academy of Art. The response was extraordinary, with more than 10,000 submissions from 26 countries. Each artwork was carefully reviewed by a distinguished panel of artists, teachers, critics, and curators. From this process, 6,000 finalists were selected for inclusion in a commemorative book. Awards and certificates were also presented to recognize the creativity and commitment of young artists worldwide.
Nature & Art Alliance is now preparing for the next Global Youth Art Competition. The goals are to expand participation to more countries and to launch a multilingual curriculum for educators, equipping classrooms everywhere to explore biodiversity through creativity—and to help protect our planet.
